Peabody police log, Oct. 1-2

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Monday and Tuesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Monday, Oct. 1

2:49 p.m. Police responded to a report of a fall with a head injury at Sylvan Street Grille. Officer reports party is being combative, requested ride to Atlantic. Party transported to Salem Hospital.

3:39 p.m. Police responded to a report of vandalism at the public library. Officer reports that someone shot out the glass of the front door with a pellet gun sometime since Friday, glass is valued at $500.

6:06 p.m. Police responded to a report of a motorcycle and a man down on the side of the road on Route 128 North by the Route 1 exits. Officer reports it appears to be in the Lynnfield area, unknown if it is disabled motor vehicle or motor vehicle accident but Lynnfield and state police already on scene.

6:42 p.m. Ralph E. Sciarretta, of 111R Main Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with trespassing and two counts of larceny under $250.

11:31 p.m. Eric M. Frechette, of 19 Nancy Avenue, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault, malicious destruction of property over $250, and witness intimidation.

Tuesday, Oct. 2

7:35 a.m. Police removed an open syringe from Bradford Road.

10:52 a.m. Don A. Denham, of 50½ Aborn Street, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise (third offense) and receiving stolen property under $250.

1:21 p.m. Police responded to a hit and run at the Cheesecake Factory at the Northshore Mall. Party hit a jersey barrier at the entrance.

1:44 p.m. Danny Ortega will be summonsed to court and charged with a one-way violation and driving without a license.
