Peabody police log, Oct. 10-11

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Wednesday, Oct. 10

5:30 p.m. Police removed a needle from a parking lot on Foster Street.

7:35 p.m. A male party called to report an assault. Officer states that a female threw a cup of water at the reporting party over a verbal argument.

8:48 p.m. Matthew S. Rosa, of 2 Mt. Vernon Street, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.

10:23 p.m. District Manager of Sal's Pizza on Lynnfield Street reports that an employee stole money from the register. Officer spoke with employee at his residence. Samuel Eppinger, of 12 Florence Road, will be summonsed to court and charged with larceny over $250.

Thursday, Oct. 11

1:00 a.m. Johnny Alcantara, of 371 Chatham Street, Lynn, was arrested and will be charged with driving with a suspended license and a lights violation.

3:06 a.m. Officers assisted state police with a vehicle stop on 128 near Exit 28.

5:00 a.m. Police responded to a report of a person in the road on Lowell Street waving at traffic. Taken home without incident.

6:42 a.m. Timothy Krigest, of 10232 Kirkbride Drive, Danvers will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a suspended license.

10:08 a.m. Police took a report of a road rage incident on Centennial Drive. Incident is under investigation.

10:53 a.m. Officer Alves will be investigating a past assault and battery at Higgins Middle School.

12:29 p.m. Police responded to a report of suspicious activity on Berry Street. Caller reported a white male (early 20s, about 6-feet tall with a shaved head, wearing a maroon sweatshirt and yellow undershirt) had been walking around in his driveway, sitting on his steps, and laying on his lawn. Officer could not locate party upon arrival.

1:27 p.m. Police received a report of an intoxicated male having difficulty operating a bicycle. The man did not want police services.
