Peabody police log, Oct. 2-3

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Tuesday and Wednesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Tuesday, Oct. 2

2:26 p.m. Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run on Silverleaf Way.

2:35 p.m. Tina M. White, of 116 Lafayette Street, Salem, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise (third offense).

2:43 p.m. Police responded to a report of larceny on Pulaski Street. Officer reports that a male party stole the headlights off of a motor vehicle.

3:39 p.m. Police responded to a report of a motor vehicle accident at Lake Street and Winona Street. Shastri Murray, of Herrick Road, will be summonsed to court and charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, and Marcio Garcia, of 10 Warren Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with operating a motor vehicle without a license.

3:53 p.m. Vincenzo Valenti Jr., of 15 Crane Avenue, was arrested and will be charged with disorderly conduct and shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

5:12 p.m. Richard L. Barry, of 15 Valley Road, Lynn, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a revoked registration and a crosswalk violation.

5:24 p.m. Police responded to a report of a fight between two females at Pierpont Park. Police checked the area, nothing showing at this time.

7:30 p.m. A party reported that his child's mother fraudulently obtained a cell phone account using his 4-year-old daughter's information.

11:12 p.m. Percy Gaskin, of 563 Boston Street, Lynn, was arrested and will be charged with unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.

Wednesday, Oct. 3

9:54 a.m. Police took a walk-in report of larceny from Wahtera Road.

10:35 a.m. Paula Fyfe, of 349 Lowell Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with two counts of shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

1:00 p.m. Police took a report of a suspicious person in a green Astrovan with a dent in it that made comments to children after school yesterday.

1:27 p.m. Police removed a hypodermic needle from Walnut Street.
