Peabody police log, Sept. 29-30

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Saturday, Sept. 29

12:09 a.m. Police responded to a report of a fight in progress on Dennis Street. No witnesses available, one party transported to Salem Hospital.

12:17 a.m. Jeannie M. Crane, of 145R Lynn Street, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.

6:27 a.m. Police responded to a report of a fire on Garden Road. Officers set up crime scene tape pending an investigation by Peabody Fire arson investigators.

9:24 a.m. David W. Claffey, of 52 Endicott Street, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.

11:31 a.m. Isabel M. Sampaio-Medeiros, of 28 Tremont Street, Salem, was arrested on the basis of five warrants and will also be charged with shoplifting by concealing merchandise.

12:28 p.m. James Luttgens, of 375 Boston Street, Lynn, was arrested and will be charged with driving with a suspended license and failure to stop/yield.

1:33 p.m. Police responded to a report of shoplifting at Victoria's Secret at the Northshore Mall. Stolen were eight bras valued at $416.

1:40 p.m. Ronald J. Bulger, of 252 Newbury Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a suspended license.

1:50 p.m. Police took a report of a hit and run at Peabody District Court.

6:18 p.m. Police responded to a report of assault at McDonald's on Main Street.

10:42 p.m. Braudys Nunez, of 5 Fulton Street, was arrested and will be charged driving without a license, driving an unregistered motor vehicle, driving an uninsured motor vehicle, receiving stolen property under $250, and attaching plates.

Sunday, Sept. 30

4:05 a.m. Police responded to a report of a fight at 7-11 on Newbury Street. Officer reports no fight, a customer was giving the clerk trouble. Party left area prior to police arrival.

11:30 a.m. Police took a report of an elderly male outside of his vehicle on the ramp heading into the highway on Centennial Drive at Route 128 North. Officer checked the area and could not locate the party.
