Peabody police log, Nov. 19-20

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Monday and Tuesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Monday, Nov. 19

2:43 p.m. Officer spoke to a property owner on Centennial Drive who reported some damage done to part of the grass and a spruce tree sometime Friday night into Saturday.

3:17 p.m. Report of kids throwing rocks at cars on Endicott Street. Units checked area, youths are gone.

3:19 p.m. Calling party on Brookbridge Road reports her neighbor gave her 7-year-old son the finger and she afraid to let him play outside now. Officer spoke with the neighbor who denied giving the finger.

4:49 p.m. Steven R. Kaplan, of 168 Coolidge Street, Revere, and Charles Kaplan, of 286 Newbury Street, will both be summonsed to court and charged with assault and battery and malicious destruction of property over $250.

5:18 p.m. Anabel Pena, of 152 Endicott Street, Danvers, will be summonsed to court and charged with shoplifting more than $100 by concealment and shoplifting by asportation.

5:36 p.m. Police responded to a hit-and-run at the Northshore Mall.

6:07 p.m. Katlyn M. Bergendahl, of 51 Bristow Street, Saugus, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a suspended registration and no inspection sticker.

6:40 p.m. Police responded to a report of a party trespassing at the McDonald’s on Main Street. Party left prior to police arrival.

9:00 p.m. Thomas Raymond Washington, of 286R Washington Street, was arrested and will be charged with disorderly conduct, breaking and entering, and trespassing.

Tuesday, Nov. 20

5:44 a.m. Caller reports a fire alarm in her building on Crane Brook Way. No smoke showing, officer cleared by fire department.

10:08 a.m. Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run on Newbury Street at Lowell Street.

11:51 a.m. Party on Crowninshield Street reports that someone had used her social security number and filed for 2011 tax returns with the IRS.

1:06 p.m. Police responded to a burglary on Harris Street.
