Peabody police log, Nov. 11-12
The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Sunday and Monday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Sunday, Nov. 11
2:50 p.m. Police responded to a report of a parking argument at the Northshore Mall that resulted in a physical altercation. Officer spoke to both parties and neither wanted to pursue the matter.
3:52 p.m. Police took a report of a past hit-and-run (Friday, 1 p.m.) at Oliveria's.
4:48 p.m. Police responded to a report of a vehicle that hit a parked car. Matthew S. Fitzpatrick, of 19 Virginia Avenue, Beverly, was arrested and will be charged with OUI.
6:15 p.m. Caller on Foster Street reports that his vehicle was stolen. It was actually towed by Phil's Towing for trespassing.
9:38 p.m. Jaime D. Finnemore, of 278 Western Avenue, Lynn, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a suspended license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and idle engine of stopped vehicle over 5 minutes.
Monday, Nov. 12
1:54 a.m. Victor Tyrone Neat, of 30 Veterans Memorial Drive, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault and battery.
8:28 a.m. Caller reports finding two syringes in front of the Knights of Columbus on Main Street.
12:45 p.m. A leaf blower was reported stolen from Eastern Bank on Lynn Street.
12:49 p.m. Police received a report of a female shoplifter detained inside Sears at the Northshore Mall. Officer reports Sears will handle the matter on its own.
1:00 p.m. Passerby reports woods fire in the area of Spring Pond Road. Fire department notified. Officers report fire was in Lynn and all units cleared.
