Peabody police log, Nov. 3-4

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Saturday, Nov. 3

2:35 a.m. Caller reports a group of teens creating a disturbance in the area of Sunoco on Lynn Street. Officer dispersed a group of teens from the area.

9:02 a.m. A female walked into the station to report a larceny at Court House Pub on Central Street. Party stated that her Galaxy 4S cell phone, valued at $450, and multiple credit cards were taken.

9:34 a.m. A resident of Cedar Grove Avenue would like to report a stepladder stolen from his carport.

1:53 p.m. Police received a report of a tree down on the bike path on Bourbon Street. A message was left with the DPW.

4:09 p.m. Natasha L. Cedano, of 4 Summers Court, Lynn, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting, shoplifting by concealing and disorderly conduct. She has been trespassed from the Northshore Mall for three years.

5:06 p.m. Dolores Mercurio, of 273 Rantoul Street, Beverly, was arrested and will be charged with larceny over $250, disorderly conduct, and two charges of illegal possession of a Class B substance.

5:48 p.m. Huyen Nguyen, of 1155 N. Green Bay Road, Waukegan, IL, was arrested and will be charged with larceny over $250. Hanh Ngo, of 58 Greenleaf Street, Quincy, will be charged with larceny over $250.

9:09 p.m. Caller reported a hit-and-run accident on Collins Street.

Sunday, Nov. 4

10:10 a.m. A male party called to report that while walking down Curwen Road on Saturday, a dog ran after him and tried to bite him. The dog is owned by a neighbor. A notice of complaint will be sent to the owner regarding the unleashed dog.

10:55 a.m. James Cronin, of 11 Wheeler Street, Peabody, was arrested and will be charged with assault and battery, and malicious destruction of property $250 or less.

11:41 a.m. Marino E. Rosario Jr., of 115 Central Street, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.

12:57 p.m. A caller reported a motor vehicle parked on Bartholomew Street for several weeks. Ford 500 confirmed stolen out of Haverhill.
