The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Wednesday, Nov. 7
2:05 p.m. Police took a walk-in report of credit card fraud.
2:11 p.m. Report of a motor vehicle on fire at Lowell Street and Summit Street. Officer reports a small engine bay fire was extinguished.
3:48 p.m. Police responded to a domestic dispute on Rockway Road. Party reports his ex-girlfriend came by to drop off their child and he was assaulted by her. Paul E. Bourgeois III, of 41 Rockway Road, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault and battery. Katelyn Hart, of 273 Lynnfield Street, Lynn, will be summonsed to court and charged with domestic assault and battery.
5:07 p.m. A resident of Reo Road called to report that someone has been using his credit card information in California.
7:01 p.m. Employee from Ulta Cosmetics at the Northshore Mall called to report a male party, described as wearing a black jacket, blue hoodie and baggy pants, shoplifted four fragrances 20 minutes ago. Mall security given a description of the suspect, officer will document.
7:57 p.m. Macy's (Northshore Mall) loss prevention called to report a shoplifter detained and $193 worth of merchandise recovered. Macy's will handle the incident internally.
8:30 p.m. Police responded to a report of a hit-and-run at A-Plus Market on Central Street.
Thursday, Nov. 8
12:14 a.m. Joao O. Babilon, of 10 Winter Street, was arrested and will be charged with intimidation of a witness, three counts of domestic assault and battery, and three counts of threats to commit a crime.
8:28 a.m. Police received a report of a coyote on Lowell Street that appears to be disoriented. Officer states that the animal was a loose dog.
1:09 p.m. A resident of Aviv Homecare on Lynnfield Street would like to make a report of larceny.
2:00 p.m. David Cloutman, of 91 Main Street, Saugus, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
