Peabody police log, Oct. 30-31

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Tuesday and Wednesday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Tuesday, Oct. 30

3:09 p.m. Caller on Pocahontas Drive stated that his "girl" bit into glass and is bleeding from the mouth. Female got on the phone and tried to refuse medical attention. Officer reports that it appears to have been a domestic dispute, all parties involved refused service.

4:26 p.m. Gail E. Zucchari, of 52 Catalina Road, Lynn, was arrested and will be charged with shoplifting by concealment and receiving stolen property under $250.

5:07 p.m. Caller reports a wire down on Druid Avenue. Fire department notified.

5:08 p.m. Police responded to a motor vehicle accident on Main Street. Joao C. Almeida, of 106 Main Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving with a suspended license. Selma A. Barbosa, of 106 Main Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with allowing an unlicensed person to operate.

6:07 p.m. Jose E. Lopez, of 28 Malden Street, Everett, was arrested and will be charged with driving without a license, driving an unregistered vehicle, and failure to display owners name.

6:10 p.m. Units report Walnut Street is starting to flood, DPW notified.

6:11 p.m. Officer reports Lowell Street is flooding at Baldwin Street.

6:37 p.m. Report of a hit-and-run at the Container Store on Andover Street.

8:59 p.m. Report of Tremont Street almost impassable due to high water.

9:22 p.m. Caller reports that Donegal Road is starting to flood, DPW notified.

Wednesday, Oct. 31

9:04 a.m. Resident left a voicemail advising of a bird in the third floor hallway of the Tannery Apartments on Crowninshield Street.

11:23 a.m. Police responded to a an incident of road rage at Lowell Street and Apple Hill Road.

11:44 a.m. Party would like to report a stolen vehicle. Unable to run information or enter the vehicle as stolen at this time as computers are down.
