Peabody police log, Oct. 31-Nov. 1

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Wednesday, Oct. 31

3:39 p.m. Police responded to a report of road rage with threats at the Marriott Hotel on Centennial Drive. Offender left the area.

4:53 p.m. Large tree limb down on Dexter Street; DPW notified.

5:58 p.m. Police responded to an outside fire on Princeton Street; fire department notified.

8:44 p.m. Police responded to a report of a teen dressed in a "Jason" costume swinging a plastic knife at children. Officer checked the area and was unable to find Jason.

10:41 p.m. Junior Cardosa, of 1939 Dorchester Avenue, Dorchester, will be summonsed to court and charged with violating an abuse prevention order.

Thursday, Nov. 1

1:37 a.m. Police responded to a two-car motor vehicle accident at 7-11 on Lowell Street. Suspect vehicle left prior to officer?s arrival. Beverly police asked to make notification. Officer will document the crash.

4:01 a.m. Police responded to a report of a possible fire on the third floor of a residence on Tremont Street. Officer reports a small oven fire; fire department handled.

7:14 a.m. Party would like to report vandalism to the West Memorial School on Bow Street.

12:44 p.m. Party would like to report fraud over the Internet. Officer reports party was scammed out of money trying to buy a motor vehicle over the Internet.
