Peabody police log, Dec. 5-6

The following was taken from the Peabody Police Department logs for Wednesday and Thursday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:

Wednesday, December 5

4:14 p.m. An FBI special agent in the Boston office reports receiving a phone call from a Peabody resident that was upset over not receiving any assistance for flooding and land issues from the city. He made verbal threats that he will "have to do what he has to do." The party left his name, but his address and date of birth are unknown. The agent thought it should be documented.

5:08 p.m. Report of a vacant house alarm sounding on North Central Street. Officer found an open door at the residence.

5:13 p.m. Maud M. Duchatellier, of 22 Allston Street, Medford, will be summonsed to court and charged with driving without a license and failure to yield at an intersection.

5:26 p.m. Caller on Veterans Memorial Drive reports a package delivered to her home was stolen from there on Monday. She suspects her neighbor took the package because food items that can only be purchased in Puerto Rico were in her trash.

7:21 p.m. Caller on Aborn Street reported being followed by a Dodge Ram with Delaware plates occupied by two males. Vehicle entered Salem, Salem police notified.

9:54 p.m. Macy's LP at the Northshore Mall reports that a male party put on a coat from the sales floor and walked out without paying. Officer ran the plate number of the suspect's vehicle, which did not match the vehicle description given by the reporting party.

10:30 p.m. Party on Lynnfield Street reports her house was egged by at least a dozen eggs.

10:55 p.m. Jill Anderson, of 286 Newbury Street, will be summonsed to court and charged with motor vehicle use without authority, and two counts of malicious destruction of property over $250.

10:59 p.m. Party reported hit-and-run accident with property damage that occurred on Tremont Street.

Thursday, December 6

1:12 a.m. Caller reports a possible water break on Ellsworth Road. Officer confirmed water break, DPW notified.

6:19 a.m. Police investigated a past hit-and-run accident on Washington Street.

9:00 a.m. Report of a water main break on Lowell Street. DPW notified.

1:57 p.m. Joseph A. Arone, of 39 Garden Road, was arrested and will be charged with domestic assault and battery, and malicious destruction of property $250 or under.
