A Blood Cancer Support Group: 'Family & Friends'. Hosted by Lahey Hospital & Medical Center on behalf of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, meets on the third Monday of each month from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at Lahey Medical Center, Peabody, One Essex Center Drive, Peabody. Peggy Russo, CTT-M, tobacco treatment specialist, Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, Burlington, and other Freedom from Smoking certified instructors will review this step-by-step plan for tobacco treatment.
Learn how to overcome your tobacco addiction so that you may start enjoying the benefits of better health. Enjoy a small group setting, fun, interactive learning environment and participant workbook and other informative materials.
In this program, you will learn about: Medicines that can help you stop smoking, Lifestyle changes that make quitting easier, managing stress, avoiding weight gain and developing a new self-image.
In Peabody, noontime programs are held third floor Conference Room, One Essex Center Drive.
In Burlington, sessions are held 6 p.m. in the Kariotis Conference Room, 41 Mall Road.

Look Good....Feel Better Program at Lahey Hospital and Lahey Medical Center
(For Women Undergoing Cancer Treatment)
The American Cancer Society conducts the Look Good....Feel Better program for women undergoing cancer treatment.
Guided by volunteer cosmetologist, female cancer patients who participate in this class will learn how to use make-up and skin care techniques to overcome the appearance-related effects of chemotherapy and radiation. Women also learn ways to disguise hair loss with wigs, scarves and other accessories. Following the program, participants are provided a complimentary make-up kit.
This program is held at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, 41 Mall Road in Burlington and Lahey Medical Center One Essex Center Drive in Peabody throughout the year. Classes are held on Tuesdays from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. For class availability or to register, please call
