A fifteen-year old Quincy resident was allegedly assaulted on March 31 and then intimidated in court on June 2 by a classmate and the classmate’s family, police said.

According to the police report, the initial incident happened at the Quincy Center T-Station. Officers arrived at the scene where the 15-year old victim was sitting on the ground crying hysterically.

The victim was badly bruised and her hair was in disarray. She had a laceration on her lip and an abrasion on her left cheek.

The victim said she had been sitting on the steps in front of the station when a Central Middle School classmate, the classmate’s mother, and the classmate’s older sister, approached the victim and allegedly began to argue with her.

According to police, the victim told the suspects to leave her alone, at which point a fight ensued.

A witness told police that the three girls began to punch the victim and pull her hair. One of the alleged assailants shoved the victim to the ground, causing her to hit her face on the concrete.

According to the victim, the fight ensued over a problem the victim had with another student at Central Middle School.

The suspects allegedly fled in a gray Chevy Town Car, the victim was taken to Quincy Medical Center by ambulance.

Officers attempted to locate the suspects at their Burgan Parkway address in Quincy, but could not locate them. They were summonsed to court for assault by means of a dangerous weapon (the concrete).

Quincy School Police Officer Steve Burgio said all suspects had been suspended. In addition, the girl's sister was barred from entering all Quincy Public Schools until the matter is resolved.

On Thursday June 2, all parties showed up in Quincy District Court in regards to the matter. According to police, the victim burst out of the courtroom crying hysterically after the hearing, saying one of the students said she was going to kill her.

The victim was taken outside the courtroom in order not to cause a scene.
