Hough’s Neck Congregational Church will hold a bake sale to benefit Project Access, a mission to provide school supplies and other assistance to the 169 homeless children who attend Quincy Public Schools.

The sale will be held Saturday, Sept. 17, at Hough’s Neck Chowdafest at the Maritime Center. According to a release, the hope is not only to provide supplies and backpacks for these children, but also afford enough money to pay for sports participation and field trip fees.

For information on how to donate baked goods or for information on the bake sale, contact Gayle Mackay at gaylemackay@comcast.net or Sue Rheault at 617-479-2311.
