Scott Brown to speak on unemployment Friday in Quincy

US Senator Scott Brown will speak Friday afternoon about unemployment and underemployment, in a free event at the St. Chrysostom's Episcopal Church in Quincy.

The speech is sponsored by the Greater Quincy Career Club, which has invited Quincy Mayor Thomas Koch, city councilors, and other city officials.

Brown is scheduled to talk about measures being taken in Congress to address employment issues and transitioning to new industries. The speech is scheduled to begin at 1:30 p.m. on the upper level of the church, located at the corner of Linden Avenue and Hancock Street.
