Men allegedly stole cooking grease from Quincy eatery
Police are looking for two suspects who allegedly stole cooking grease from a Quincy restaurant to sell for biodiesel fuel purposes.
According to Police, the employees at Café Pacific were closing up at around 4:54 a.m. on June 2 when they heard noises coming from the rear of the building.
When they went to check out what the noises were coming from, they saw two males in an unmarked car siphoning grease from the containers. Employees said the restaurant sells the grease to be converted into diesel fuel.
The suspects were described as Hispanic males wearing dark clothing. They jumped into a Ford van when they saw the employees and drove away.
One of the tanks was completely empty, the other was only a quarter full. Both tanks had been completely full earlier that evening, employees said.
Police are continuing to look for the suspects.
