A similar suspect was described robbing the US Gas Station on Sept. 13. According to police, in that instance, the masked suspect threatened the clerk with a knife before taking a large sum of money. The suspect then got into a car and fled.
Police used surveillance tapes from the robberies to identify the suspect, who they arrested at the Gaslight Village in Weymouth on Sept. 14.
Johnny Camejo, 35, from Weymouth was subsequently charged with two counts armed robbery while masked, intimidation to steal from a bank, and larceny over $250.
