Police have arrested a man in connection with two robberies that took place at the Eastern Bank on Franklin Street in Quincy.

According to police, the robberies occurred on July 30 and Aug. 17, when a similar suspect came into the bank without a weapon and demanded money from a teller.

Quincy police worked with State Police and the FBI in identifying the suspect after numerous calls came in to the station naming the suspect.

Police spoke with the suspect's probation officer and compared pictures of the suspect to surveillance videos, police said. As a result of the investigation, Boston Police arrested the suspect at his Dorchester home on Sept. 22.

In addition to several outstanding warrants from Suffolk Superior Court, Paul Driscoll, 31, was charged with two counts of unarmed bank robbery and intimidating to steal from a bank.

He is being held at a facility in Concord, police said.
