Two men were seriously injured in a pedestrian accident in Quincy early Friday morning after a pick-up truck allegedly struck the pair and kept going.

According to police, the suspect was driving a dark-colored pickup truck heading west toward Burgin Parkway at 1:11 a.m. when, at the intersection of Walter J. Hannon Parkway and Hancock Street, he hit the two men.

The first victim, a 28-year-old man, was taken to Quincy Medical Center with serious injuries. He was later transported to Tufts Medical Center.

The second victim, a 45-year-old man, was taken to Boston Medical Center with serious and life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses said they say the truck hit both men head on and continued on down the road. The truck allegedly has front-end damage, with a headlight out and damage to the front bumper.

Police are continuing to look for the driver. Anyone with information is encouraged to call Quincy Police.
