84-year-old man killed in pedestrian accident

A 84-year-old man was killed in a motor vehicle accident after allegedly being struck by a car on Friday night.

According to Quincy Police, Yizhou He, 84, from Quincy was crossing the street near Kam Man Market on Quincy Avenue when the car, a 1998 Mercury, hit him.

According to the driver, a 93-year-old Quincy woman, the victim ran out in front of her car. According to police, the victim was not in a crosswalk.

He was transferred to Boston Medical Center and died on Sunday.

According to police, the driver has not been charged in the accident.

Police are still investigating the incident.

Woman seriously injuried after pedestrian accident

Police are investigating a pedestrian accident that sent one woman to the hospital with serious injuries.

According to police, the victim, a 52-year-old woman from Quincy, was crossing the area of 399 Sea Street in a crosswalk on Friday at 5:45 p.m. when a 31-year-old female from Quincy drove her car into the victim.

The victim was taken to Boston Medical Center with serious injuries, though police said that her condition was stable.

Police said the driver, Chun Yu, 31, from Quincy, will be charged with failure to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
