Quincy police have arrested a man they believe robbed the Eastern Bank on Franklin Street late January.
The suspect allegedly entered the bank on Jan. 28, and handed the teller a note demanding money.
The teller handed the suspect a sum of cash and he fled in a car. Witnesses said the man did not show a weapon.
After a weeks-long investigation, Boston police said they found the man in Boston and arrested him.
Twenty-four-year-old Stephen Mark Brynes, who police say is homeless, was charged with unarmed robbery and possession of a stolen motor vehicle.
He will be arraigned Feb. 15 in Quincy District Court.
