One day after he appeared in court on charges of motor vehicle homicide, a Roslindale man will be back in court today after Boston police allegedly found a marijuana growing operating in his home.

Colin Ratiu pleaded not guilty on Monday to charges that he drove into Andrew Prior, a 24-year-old Northeastern University graduate driving a scooter. Ratiu allegedly sped away and Prior died from injuries sustained in the Nov. 14 crash

Police yesterday executed a search warrant on Ratiu's home and found what Suffolk District Attorney Daniel F. Conley's office described as "a climate-controlled closet in which he was growing marijuana.''

Ratiu was in Roxbury Municipal Court on Monday. Today, he is scheduled to appear in West Roxbury Municipal Court, according to prosecutors.
