Roslindale resident Enna Jimenez appointed vice president of the Simmons College Alumnae Association Executive Board.
Roslindale resident Enna Jimenez began her second term as vice president of the Simmons College Alumnae Association Executive Board earlier this summer.
Jimenez, a member of the class of 1991, began her first term last summer but it had not been formally announced. The 2011-2012 slate of officers was voted in at the association’s annual meeting.
Prior to this, Jimenez served as the Alumnae Association’s director of board and nominations. She has worked in the financial industry for the past 20 years and serves as the assistant vice president of the Quality Management Center Department at Wellington Management, which is based in Boston.
The Simmons College alumnae association is a group of elected alumnae volunteers who help alumnae and students stay connected to the college through networking, programs, events and other opportunities.
Simmons was founded in 1899 and offers an undergraduate education for women as well as coeducational graduate programs in nursing and health sciences, liberal arts, library and information science and social work. It is also home to the nation’s first MBA program designed specifically for women.
