Police: Man drives prostitute to Roxbury daycare parking lot for midday sex
A man picked a woman up along the side of a Boston road, drove her to a busy day care parking lot in Roxbury and paid her to have sex with him there early afternoon yesterday, according to Boston Police.
Shortly before noon Tuesday, officers in an unmarked car saw a woman trying to flag down passing cars in the Grove Hall area, authorities said today in a statement today. A short while later, the officers watched the woman walk up to, reach inside and then get into a car driven by a man along Brunswick Street, police said.
Officers followed the car as it drove onto Warren Street and then onto Elm Hill Ave where the car pulled into a busy parking lot for the Walnut Grove Head Start children's day care operated by Action for Boston Community Development, Inc., according to police.
The car parked along a fence in the parking lot and approaching officers then saw the man and woman engaged "in what appeared to be a sex act" inside the car, police said.
"Officers then separated the two parties and learned that the two suspects had engaged in a sex for fee agreement," the police statement said.
Sheila Brown, 42, of Dorchester, and Burhan Ayanle, 31, of Roxbury, were arrested and charged with prostitution: sex for a fee and open and gross lewdness, police said.
