According to police, the above is a video of the suspects at the McDonald’s several hours prior to the armed robbery.

Detectives are seeking the public’s help in identifying two men seen in surveillance video and images ordering food at a McDonald’s in Egleston Square about three hours before they allegedly returned with a semi-automatic gun and robbed the restaurant.

Boston Police say officers responded to a radio call for an armed robbery at the fast-food location at 3064 Washington St. near where the neighborhoods of Roxbury and Jamaica Plain meet on Feb. 25 at about 11:13 p.m.

The officers were told that two men had entered the McDonald’s through a back door and robbed the store, authorities said.

Surveillance footage showed the two men had been at the store hours earlier as customers, detectives said.

Police said one man was armed with what appeared to be a TEC-9 submachine gun. That man is described as being black, about 6 feet tall, 200 pounds in his late teens or early 20’s with a medium, athletic build, light-brown complexion and possible light facial hair, official said. He was wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt with two white draw strings beneath a black or dark gray zippered front jacket with shoulder lapels and a black knit hat with a white emblem, according to police said.

“The suspect also walks with a strange gait,” a statement from Boston Police said. He was wearing a black knit hat and a black hooded sweatshirt, detectives said.
