The injuries to a woman who was wounded in a stabbing in Roxbury on Sunday night are now considered to be non-life threatening, a Boston Police spokeswoman said Monday.

The woman had been stabbed multiple times at a home on Marcella Street in Roxbury and was hospitalized with what police said on Sunday were life-threatening injuries.

A 911 call was made at about 7:50 p.m. reporting that a man and woman were fighting at the two-story house, police said. The caller said the man was attacking the woman.

On Sunday night, investigators had taped off the two-story home, and blood was visible on the porch.

In a separate incident in Boston Sunday night, a 22-year-old Dorchester man was stabbed inside the State Street MBTA subway station and hospitalized with what authorities said were life threatening injuries.

On Monday, Transit Police said he is in stable condition at Massachusetts General Hospital.
