Representatives from Boston Public Schools will be back in front of the Roxbury community Wednesday for another round of student assignment meetings.
The meetings have attracted more than 2,000 people so far, school officials say. The department is holding the hearings across the city to learn what parents would like to see done about school assignment in grades K-8.
The next meeting in Roxbury will be held Wednesday, July 18, at the O'Bryant School of Mathematics and Science’s 1st floor library from 5:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The new round of meetings come after the launch of a new city website, bostonschoolchoice.org, providing residents with information about the process, upcoming changes, and more information about community meetings.
