Administrators at Boston Public Schools won’t be winning any spelling bees any time soon after a photo surfaced showing a misspelling on a sign of a new Roxbury school.

The welcome sign on the Dudley Street Neighborhood Charter School misspelled neighborhood, instead rendering it as “neighoborhood”.

The photo, taken by the Dudley Street Neighborhood Initiative and posted on Facebook, received a number of colorful comments including a few LOLs and OMGs.

“I think we get a big, fat F for the spelling on this sign,” said Matt Wilder, director of media relations for the School Department. “We are already in the process of fixing it, and it will be taken down today.”
