The location of the new station.

Roxbury is now home to its fifth Hubway station, after the program installed a new location on the corner of Blue Hill Avenue and Mt. Pleasant Avenue.

The station can hold up to 15 of the short-term rental bikes and compliments the nearby stations on Massachusetts Avenue, Dudley Street, and at Roxbury Crossing.

This will be the last station installed in the neighborhood before the riding season comes to an end, said Chris Carter, the interim Bike Czar for the City of Boston.

“We’re still exploring growing the network further,” Carter said. “Next summer we will be looking to add more stations.”
