Residents in Roxbury will be making a list and checking it twice as they “wrap down” Roxbury’s Dudley Square Saturday afternoon.

The family-friendly event hosted by Gallery Basquiat will be held at the Dudley Branch of the Boston Public Library, Dec. 15.

From 2 p.m. – 5 p.m. community members will "trim" the neighborhood’s recently lit tree and take part in a number of activities from ornament making with SPARC, the Massachusetts College of Art and Design’s ArtMobile, to poetry readings by Books of Hope, a youth-literacy program.

Light refreshments will be provided at the all-ages event and participants are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food items for donation to the local food bank.
