Residents will have one last chance to voice their opinion on renovations to Gibbons Playground in Mission Hill.

Since January the Boston Parks and Recreation Department has held a series of meetings to discuss with the community improvements to the park located at approximately 23 Delle Ave.

A third community meeting will be held Saturday, April 6, starting at 3 p.m.

The meeting is scheduled to be held at the playground, but if it rains the meeting will be moved to the Tobin Community Center at 1481 Tremont St.

Last renovated in 1995, the city has set aside approximately $275,000 for work at the 4,791-square-foot playground.

Work at the parcel could include the renovation or replacement of the existing play structure, along with the renovation to the exterior fence and gateway element and the water spray feature. Certain park aspects are also expected to be renovated to bring them up to code.

Bids for the project are expected to be out by the summer, with construction slated to start in the fall, according to Parks.

For more information about the meeting contact Parks at (617) 961-3058.
