Area residents, elected officials, and community advocates are expected to come together at Hibernian Hall Wednesday evening for the Roxbury Dream Festival.

The free event, set to run from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., is being led by the Center for Teen Empowerment and will include food, entertainment, and discussions about the Civil Rights movement and where it is today.

In addition to conversations about Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.’s famed “I Have a Dream” speech, local youth will present their dreams for the community as part of the event’s Dream Ceremony.

Hibernian Hall is located at 184 Dudley St. and for more information contact Andrew at 617-536-4266 x 311.
