Blue Hill Avenue from Dudley Street to Warren Street will be shut down Sunday to allow the community a chance to come out and play.
Part of the Circle the City initiative, the program aims to give residents a chance to take back their streets, meet their neighbors, and enjoy the beautiful fall weather.
From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. the roadway will be shut to traffic and over 50 free activities for all ages, from live music to historical tours, will be offered along the avenue.
Sponsored by the Boston Collaborative for Food and Fitness, the Boston Cyclists Union, the Emerald Necklace Conservancy and others, the program is part of the national Open Streets Project, which strives to get people out on their streets interacting with the community and those that make it up.
