Salem Main Streets is looking for local farmers and vendors to participate in the 2012 Salem Farmers' Market located in downtown Salem in Derby Square on Front Street Thursdays from 3:00-7:00 p.m.
"We have received strong community support at the market and like to offer a great variety of locally grown and produced items" emphasized Salem Main Streets' Manager Jennifer Bell. The popular market typically accepts 25 vendors and serves an average of 2,800 people each week for a 20 week season.
Anyone wishing to participate must submit an application to Salem Main Streets (the market organizer) by March 30. Applications can be downloaded from www.salemfarmersmarket.org. Booth space is $25 for a 10' x 10' spot, $50 for a 10' x 20' spot, and $75 for a 10' by 30' spot. There is a discount for prepayment for the season.
