Statement from James Glynn, assistant director of marketing and communications for Salem State University:

As of this afternoon, we learned that Anderson Cooper has canceled, due to personal reasons, his appearance for Tuesday evening's Salem State Series event. We're sorry for the inconvenience and share this disappointment with you. Automatic refunds will be made, or contact the box office starting tomorrow after 10 a.m. by calling (978) 542-7555.
