Sunday, May 27

12:46 a.m. Officers responded to a report of cars racing and possible gunshots in the area of Walmart at 450 Highland Avenue.

9:42 a.m. A man was treated for a dog bite when he was bitten on the hand by a black lab that was off its leash when trying to break up a fight between his dog and the lab on Winter Island Road. The lab's owner could not be identified.

12:36 p.m. Police responded to a report of a man possibly exposing himself in the area of 7 Leach Street.

9:17 p.m. Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated man sleeping on a gazebo at the Salem Willows. The man was taken into protective custody.

9:42 p.m. Police responded to an ongoing neighbor dispute at 55 Barstow Street.

10:42 p.m. Police responded to a dispute between a bartender and a customer at the Lobster Shanty at 25 Front Street.

11:45 p.m. Items were stolen from a car parked in front of the Christian Fellowship Church at 207 Highland Avenue.

Monday, May 28

12:09 a.m. A woman was assaulted by three other females in the area of Washington Street at Harbor Street.

12:32 a.m. A car was vandalized near 38 Summer Street.

3:00 a.m. Police responded to a verbal argument between a man and a woman at 32 West Avenue.

8:14 a.m. Tools were stolen from a trailer parked at 161 North Street.

8:46 a.m. A car parked at 142 Washington Street was vandalized overnight.

Arrests

David Casey, of 5½ Leach Street, was arrested for assault and battery, intimidation of a witness and domestic assault and battery.

Abiezer Cotto, of 8 Cherry Street, was arrested for trespassing.

Lionel Dubuisson, of 29 Bow Street in Beverly, was arrested for assault.

Kristen Eadie, of 18 Reo Road in Peabody, was arrested on the basis of multiple warrants.

Wellington Taveras, of 10 Irving Street, was arrested for shoplifting.

Leslie Ferreira, of 520 Main Street in Malden, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.

Michael Lockard, of 79 Grove Street, was arrested for assault and battery, intimidation of a witness and attempted murder.

Angelo Martignetti Jr., of 110 Lowell Street in Peabody, was arrested for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, marked lanes violation and illegal possession of a Class C substance.

Orlando Perez, of 12 First Street, was arrested for assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
