The following was taken from the Salem Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Saturday, July 28:
1:15 a.m. Police responded to Hawthorne Boulevard on a report of a possible fight between the occupants of up to three vehicles. Prior to arrival, calling party called back and stated that vehicles had left the area.
2:54 a.m. Police responded to a 55 Buffum Street Extension on a report of a woman screaming for help and yelling "call 911," which was result of an ongoing domestic disturbance; one woman taken into protective custody.
1:13 p.m. Police took a walk-in report of a hit and run on Highland Avenue.
1:20 p.m. Police responded to 127 Essex Street on a report of an aggressive panhandler; unable to locate.
2:03 p.m. Police responded to a neighbor dispute at 13 Lyme Street.
4:15 p.m. Police took a report of sexual assault on Memorial Drive.
8:11 p.m. A motor vehicle was reported stolen from Ropes Street, and recovered later following an accident on Congress Street.
9:27 p.m. Police responded to a fight in progress on Palmer Street.
Sunday, July 29:
1:28 a.m. Police responded to a report of a purse snatching at 116 Highland Avenue. After an investigation, a warrant for unarmed robbery will be sought for Wilky Gomez-Savinon.
2:47 a.m. A motor vehicle was reported stolen from Prince Street.
2:53 p.m. Police responded to Butler Street on a report of two Jeramie Crane, of 3 Harrison Avenue, was arrested for assault and battery, intimidation of a witness, malicious destruction of property over $250, larceny of property over $250, and burglary and assault in a dwelling.
Scott Gauvain, of 22 Proctor Street, was arrested for intimidation of a witness, assault and battery on a child resulting in injury, assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, and two counts of assault and battery.
Eric Kellum, of 36 Intrepid Circle in Marblehead, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
Lillian Lammy, of 70 Beach Avenue Swampscott, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
William MacNeil Jr., of 70 Beach Avenue in Swampscott, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
Jonathan Martinez, of 3 Roslyn Street Court, was arrested on the basis of three warrants.
Theresa McLaughlin, of 255 Jefferson Avenue, was arrested for shoplifting by concealing merchandise.
Emily Roads, of 41 Pond Street in Marblehead, was arrested for drinking in public, and knowingly being present where heroin is.
Roniberto Lopez, of 70 Rockaway Street in Lynn, was arrested for violating DPW rules and regulations, and operating a motor vehicle without being licensed.
Cathery Peralta, of 26 Perkins Street, was arrested on the basis of a warrant.
