Salem State students, Witch City residents receive national academic honors

Alpha Lambda Delta, the national first-year honor society, has inducted 216 Salem State University freshman as being full-time students with a grade-point averages of 3.5 or higher and in the top 20 percent of their class during their freshman semester.

The Salem State chapter of Alpha Lambda Delta was re-established this semester after and eight-years of inactivity. It serves as one of nearly 270 chapters across the country.
