The following was taken from the Salem Police Department logs for Saturday and Sunday. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law:
Saturday, December 8
4:51 p.m. Police took a report of a past road rage incident in the parking lot of Fashion Bug on Highland Avenue.
5:10 p.m. Police responded to Washington Square West on a report of a dispute over cab fare.
5:51 p.m. Police responded to a report of a vehicle parked across from Dead Horse Beach for several days. Vehicle was found legally parked and secure, but reported stolen on December 4. Owner contacted and en route to recover vehicle from Boxford.
8:31 p.m. Police responded to a report of a fire on Munroe Street. A small plastic gas can with some gas in it was on fire in the street. Fire extinguished, no reported damage to property or injury to persons.
Sunday, December 9
10:19 a.m. Police responded to the YMCA on Leggs Hill Road on a report of a stolen gym bag.
3:11 p.m. Police took a report of assault on Peabody Street in the lobby of the police station. A complaint will be filed against Luis Vazquez for domestic assault with a dangerous weapon (knife).
3:26 p.m. Police responded to a report of an unattended child in a vehicle parked at Family Dollar on Canal Street.
Francis A. Flaherty, of 60 Lexington Street, Lynn, will be charged with domestic assault (threats to stab), kidnapping, intimidation of a witness, and threatening to commit a crime (stabbing).
Darguin Fortuna, of 260 Washington Street, will be charged with disorderly conduct.
Joseph P. Grace III, of 390 Highland Avenue, will be charged with assault and battery, and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon.
Jamie B. Oriordan, of 3 Warren Road, Woburn, will be charged with OUI, marked lanes violation and speeding greater than reasonable.
Von D. Robinson, of 103 Marlborough Road, will be charged with disorderly conduct.
