The following was submitted by The Salem Theatre Company:

Salem Theatre Company's third Main Stage production of Season Ten – Conor McPherson’s SHINING CITY – is set in Dublin, where a guilt-ridden man reaches out to a therapist after seeing the ghost of his recently deceased wife. Wrestling with his own demons, the therapist can only do so much to help. Routine visits between the two men quickly become a gripping struggle to survive, changing both of them for the rest of their lives. SHINING CITY has been called “a thoughtful, artful, absorbing new drama…" from “the finest dramatist of his generation." John Fogle directs.

Featured in the cast are Stephen Cooper (A Picasso, ART), Angela Gunn of Somerville, Joseph O'Meara (The Real Thing), Thomas Rash of Rockport.  James Wilkinson of Danvers is the production stage manager. Bruce Greenwald, Gregory Mancusi-Ungaro, Jean Fogle and John Fogle of Marblehead will handle Set, Lighting, Set Decoration and Sound respectively.

SHINING CITY will run from January 24 to February 16, Thursdays through Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 3pm.
