The Salem Chamber of Commerce is hosting the 91st annual Celebrate Salem Awards Dinner in order to recognize individuals and businesses in the city that have made noteworthy accomplishments.

The Academy Awards-style event will be held on Wednesday, April 24, in the Atrium of the Peabody Essex Museum at 6:30 p.m.

The Salem Chamber, Mayor Kimberley Driscoll, Rep. John Keenan, Sen. Joan Lovely and over 250 attendees will be there when the nominees receive their awards in categories including Businesswoman of the Year, New Business of the Year, Long-Term Achievement Award, and more.

The theme of the evening will be “FreePort [No. 006]: Nick Cave,” which is on view through May 27 at the museum. The collection created by fashion designer Nick Cave features life-size soundsuits incorporating sculpture, costume, and performance.

Individual tickets for the awards dinner are $100, and sponsorship opportunities range from $500 to $2,500.
