Saugusbank President and CEO, Kevin Tierney, is pleased to announce that Angelo Russo (left) has joined the bank as Vice President and Commercial Loan Officer. With over twenty years of experience in the commercial banking area, Angelo began his career at Shawmut National, followed by stints at Fleet, Sovereign and most recently East West Bank. Having worked extensively with clients in all business sectors, throughout his career he has managed portfolios of varying size and complexity.      

At Saugusbank, Angelo will be responsible for developing new commercial banking relationships in Massachusetts, as well as in Southern New Hampshire and Southern Maine. Working out of its 489 Lincoln Ave, Saugus office, he will assist companies by creating programs to meet their working capital and cash flow needs.

Angelo earned an MBA from Northeastern University and holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Boston College. Active in many area Chambers of Commerce, Angelo is a lifelong Winthrop resident — where he lives with his wife and daughter.
