Scituate police allegedly found a small quantity of heroin in the car of a Cohasset man, who was arrested on Oct. 7 for several motor vehicle charges as well as breaking and entering charges out of Cohasset.
According to police, Scituate officers were alerted by Cohasset police to be on the lookout for the Cohasset man and his car for an alleged breaking and entering in Cohasset.
An officer was in the area of Gilson Road at approximately 9:50 p.m. when he spotted the suspect.
The officer pulled over the car and arrested the man.
Prior to towing the car, police conducted a search of the vehicle and reported finding a small quantity of heroin.
Ryan W. Walsh, 29, from Cohasset was charged in Scituate with a marked lanes violation, negligent operation of a motor vehicle, an equipment violation for the car, and possession of a Class A substance (heroin).
Walsh was delivered to Cohasset following his arrest, where he faced several more charges for the alleged burglary.
