St. John's of Shrewsbury coach Bob Foley marks 800th career win

Pioneers coach Bob Foley, the winningest basketball coach in Massachusetts history, won his 800th career game in a 80-37 win over Holy Name on Tuesday.

Drew Vittum led the No. 5 Pioneers (6-3, 3-1 Central Mass.) with 14 points, while Alex Fisher added 12 and T.J. Kelly and Adham Floyd each added 11 for St. John's. Isaiah Tatum and Daniel Kegbeh each had eight points for the Naps (1-9, 0-3).

Foley, 71, is in his 50th year coaching at the high school level. He has 12 Central Mass. titles and already holds the record for coaching wins in Massachusetts boys’ basketball history.
