Somerville High thespians have begun rehearsing for "Beauty and the Beast," and local businesses can purchase ad space in the playbill.
The show is scheduled to run from Feb. 4 through Feb. 6, according to a notice on the school district's website.
Businesses and supporters can purchase a two-line message in the program for $10; a quarter-page ad for $50; a quarter-page ad and four tickets for $75; a half-page ad for $100; a full page ad and two tickets for $150; and a full-page ad plus your name and logo on all posters and web promotions, as well as four free tickets for $250.
Tickets cost $7 for adults and $6 for seniors and children 12 and under. They can be purchased at the door or by contacting producer Rosemary Sears at 617-625-6600 x6109.
Senior Chris Tabb, who plays the Beast, will give it his all as a triple-threat, he said in a statement posted online.
"I will be challenged by the range of emotions I have to portray as Beast,” he said. “And I’m excited about sharpening my singing, acting and dancing skills.”
