A Somerville group that aims to boost immigrant participation in Somerville is offering a $10 discount card accepted at 10 immigrant-run restaurants.

“Immigrant-run businesses contribute to the local and economy and the rich culture of Somerville,” said Warren Goldstein-Gelb, Welcome Project director. “YUM offers a great opportunity to support and explore our community by trying new restaurants and getting discounts on international cuisine throughout the year.”

The group is also planning a one-night smorgasbord, where all ten eateries will serve their finest in a forum for immigrant food, scheduled for April 25 at the Center for the Arts at the Armory.
