A rendering of the complex at Maxwell's Green, slated to hold 184 units from studio-sized apartments to 3-bedrooms.
The developer of the Maxwell's Green apartment complex said last week they have begun leasing the site's 184 units.
Billed as a companion project to the Green Line Extension and the adjacent community path, the $52 million complex will offer apartments ranging from studio-size to 3-bedroom apartments and 3-bedroom townhouses at the Lowell Street structure.
Studio rents range from $1,831 to $2125; One bedrooms from $2,070 to $2,515; Two bedrooms from $2,760 to $3,590; and Three bedrooms from $3,955 to $3,975 according to ForRent.com. Move-ins will begin this summer.
"Maxwell's Green will offer residents cutting edge amenities that are unlike any other residential development in Somerville," said Damian Szary, of Gate Residential.
"As part of our effort to create a vibrant community, we have connected with local yoga instructors to teach regular onsite classes, Somerville chefs to bring cooking classes to the community chef kitchen, and fitness instructors to conduct boot camp workout classes on the community green and in the fitness center."
Every apartment in the complex is also certified energy efficient, the developers said.
