The Argenziano School at Lincoln Park was named recipient of a $5,000 grant from the Laura Bush Foundation, the Somerville school department has said. The funding will be used to expand and diversify the school's library collection.

The Argenziano was one of only four schools in the state to receive a portion of the more than $1.1 million the foundation distributed around the country.

With the money, the school said it plans to buy a collection of graphic novels and a selection of nonfiction.
