Somerville High School seniors eager to cross the graduation stage will have to wait one more day.

Because of rainy conditions, commencement exercises for the Somerville High School class of 2012 have been moved to Tuesday and will be held indoors at Tufts University, the school department announced.

Ceremonies begin at 6 p.m. in the Gantcher Family Sports and Convention Center at 161 College Ave. in Medford.

Graduates should arrive at 4:45 p.m. to assemble in their companies. Tickets to the event issued last week will be honored.

Parking is limited at the Tufts garage on Boston Avenue, so the school department recommends that families arrive early to park on the Somerville side of College Avenue or carpool.

The closest public transportation is the Route 93 MBTA bus, which stops at Boston and College Avenue.
