In Somerville, the Summer Food Service Program (funded by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education) is gearing up to provide free, nutritious meals to area children. These programs are often held at schools, parks, swimming pools, playgrounds, and other community organizations.

Somerville will host 11 sites across the city, some beginning as early as June 25th. Sites are open to kids 18 and under and meals are free, no registration is required.
